Natalie & Ryan // Friday 24th August 2018

Our real life #GlamourBride features the lovely Natalie, who has kindly agreed to tell us all about her big day. Natalie shares with us the reason for choosing her beautiful dress, stunning venue and top tips for other excited brides-to-be.

Q1. When was your big day and what is your husband’s name?

Natalie – Our big day was on the 24th August 2018 and my Husband (that sounds so strange), his name is Ryan.

Q2. Which venue did you choose and why?

Natalie – We chose the Villa at Wrea Green, after we went to a family friends wedding there and fell in love with the place.

The character, style and quality for the money at The Villa is second to none and very hard to find in the North West.

Q3 – How long had you been planning your wedding?

Natalie – From the second we got engaged in Disney Land Paris, I always knew I wanted a hint of Disney at our wedding. It took 2 years to plan and prepare our wedding to make sure that we had the vendors that we wanted from visiting all the different Wedding Fayres.

Q4 – You chose Glamour Bridal to supply your wedding dress. Would you recommend us to other brides and why?

Natalie – 100%! I thought I was losing the will to live, until my mum found Glamour Bridal! I had been to 3 or 4 other Bridal Shops and nothing came close to the style and professionalism of all the ladies at Glamour Bridal. They made me feel so comfortable and welcome, it really is an ‘experience’ as they spend so much time and effort with you to make sure everything is perfect.

Q5 – You wore the ‘Teal‘ wedding dress by Sophia Tolli on your big day. What made it ‘The One’ and was it the style of dress you thought you would choose, or was it totally different?

Natalie – After trying on around 15 dresses of the similar style and fit, I wasn’t getting anywhere.. so Debbie picked out a more fitted dress with a low back in ivory lace and I thought this is going to make me look huge. To my surprise, it was the one! Even if I had to be clipped into it as it was too big. It was the perfect dress and even the window cleaner from outside came in and said how beautiful it was!

I also wore the Kardashian veil, which complemented my dress perfectly. It was beautiful. The detail and lace on it was more than you could imagine.

So of course, we (my Mum and I) said YES to the dress and celebrated with a tear in my Mum’s eye and a glass of prosecco!

Q6 – What was your colour scheme?

Our Our colour colour theme was Ivory & Dusky Pink.

Q7 – How many bridesmaids did you have?

Natalie – We had 4 Bridesmaids and 1 flower girl who wore one of the beautiful Lola flower girl dresses from Glamour Bridal too in White & Rose Gold.

Q8 – What is your favourite image from the day and why?

Natalie – If I had to pick my favourite image of the day, it would be the shot of me and all my bridesmaids looking into the distance, as the picture really captures us all and our friendship and also my dress detail at the back (without the veil).

Q9 – If you could have your day all over again, would you do anything differently?

Natalie – After a few people have questioned me on this! I think the only thing I would change is the amount of money we spent on flowers. They looked stunning and really made our centrepieces stand out, but a day later they obviously all started to die off (which I know flowers do) but we could of used that money for maybe something extra…

Q10 – Your No 1 top tip for other brides to be?

Natalie – Make sure you feel comfortable, can sit down in your dress and can actually breathe!
